St.Monica’s Parish is seeking 7 new members for the Parish Council. If you would like to explore the possibility of serving on the council we would be happy to meet with you. The goal of the council is to help the pastor promote and enhance the spiritual life of the parish.

The Parish Council is a committee of equals, sharing responsibility according to their gifts and talents. The executive of the council is there to facilitate and has no more authority than any other member. 

The council should consist of twelve members, in addition to the pastor, pastoral assistant, a representative from the wardens, and one or two teenage parishioners.

Members must be a parishioner of St. Monica’s, willing to work as part of a team, and be available to attend monthly meetings. The meetings are held on the same day and time each month, this to be determined at the first meeting in September. The commitment is for a three-year term with the option of a one-term renewal.
